I quote a good friend of mine, "Most things start with a brilliant burst of passion. The fire sputters to nothingness eventually. I have yet to see anything to the contrary. Passion dies, enthusiasm vanishes, conviction wavers. It costs nothing to start something. It costs everything to keep it going."

According to my friend, this blog, just like anything else, the world, the sun, the exam, everything will have an end. I would like to think otherwise. Some things will remain forever, especially the more important "things".

It is only natural that we have drifted apart, all of us busy in our own ways, in our own little world. I have not seen most of you for years, a few i called months ago, 1 i just chatted online with.

Believe me when I say that I haven't forgotten all of you. How can I forget? When I walk past a recycling bin, I'm reminded of our pointless 5K Moral Project. When I enter a science lab, I remember the rush of rushing PEKA reports and faking results to get a graph yang seimbang. When I'm doing my homework, I'm reminded of how blessed I am now, "how come nobody copying my work now?" =p I kind of miss those times.

The foot print marks on the back of the class wall, some people who love to express their artistic talents on my desk, the laughter and chatter between classes, the "oh no, i'm late for kimia class feeling" that we have once in a while, the time we almost won the post-exam activities, cheering for our basketball team that didn't win (is this right?), the time i thought i had an all-star team of physics lab partners but all our experiments went horribly wrong, the game you people used to play (shout daniel, and see which daniel responds? the handsome one or the smart one) D.C.J.NERD is the smart one.

I could go on and on. The memories never leave us. Until we meet again, I'll store and treasure these experiences. Now and then, I'll open up the box, and reminiscent. I can't wait to tell you people of the new things that I've learned. The memories never leave us. They are waiting. When we meet again, and the memories come rushing back, we'll know for sure that friendship never dies. For we never really "lose touch" with our friends, we were just busy.

Everything has a cost. What did this 5K friendship cost me? 10 minutes of my sleep typing this, for starters.

It was a full moon that night, explaining all the madness which went on, if you believe that kind of stuff...

Seth was supposed to send Andrew & I home but somehow we kept missing the right turnings over and over again. Come to think of it... Did you do it on purpose, Seth? :P Wanted to keep us out longer, right?!

Frustrated, we gave up looking for home and our detour turned into a yam cha + sheesha session all the way at Hartamas Square.

Hello - my fellow 5kay classmates,

It was a sunny day, or probably raining. Or cloudy. Doesn't matter. But the point is, I want you to know that by writing just 1 post, I updated the blog. As some of you may have noticed, the UK people are now back. Although the people in Australia aren't. :(

So the sole purpose of this post is to inform you all that we'll be having a gathering. With our fellow classmates who are around. I know posting on the blog is highly inefficient, because God knows who reads this blog. However, I do know that all of you love 5K! Me too.

By the way, Daniel Chua has left for Melbourne Uni. Wish him well, the computer nerd. :D

So pick a day and time. Kuan Hwang's been asking me to call people out. Lol. So, please please tell me (preferably tell Jeng Shiun) when you're free and when you're not. Because, I mish you so much and that sounded like Natalie Sia. How's Saturday? Lunch, Movie, Dinner, Paintball, Alcohol and what not.

I feel like calling AZA and Leong to join us as well. Haha.. It's been a year and 7 months since we left high school. All the memories~~

hello people, it's been ages I didin't post anything in 5k blog. that's a very sad thing. and to people who do't post at all even sad than me. I dunno what I'm talking but pleaase don't leave this blog so dead. Thanks to our boss kept us update even though we have 2post for month of MAy.

my mood is kinda good this few days because I'm on holidays!!!! I'm having a whole 6weeks holidays and I don't know what to do. So i decided to find a job. I was thinking what job i should do or Should i work or not? I don't feel like working at the same time I feel liek working. Quite confusing right? But if I don't work, I have no money to go out Tea BREAK with SK. =p

Not only jeng shiun having holidays! Lim Jiliang also having holidays. How nice if another friend work with me? So my target is to aim Jiliang.! So i decided to ask him and this is our converstaion.

jengz: funny guy

jiliang: wtf?

jengz: are you on holiday?

jiliang: yaya

jengz: oh, want to work? (i was thinking that he sure reject)

jiliang: yea. I am finding job!!

jengz:(i'm so surprised) oh really? Lets work together!

jiliang: eh! good idea! why i din thought of that before? Why I'm so stupid? why?

So this happened yesterday afternoon where we plan to meet at 12pm. Jiliang took train to Kelana Jaya and i fetch him. On 11.30am, I am ready to go out and Suddenly a message came to my phone. I was wondering why boss reach so early? and the message says:
for those who cannot see: It says: Wei, Dun go so ealy. I not reaching yet!

then another msg came:
U go there bout 1pm la. i leaving my house now. i woke up at 11am. overslept.

12pm and 1pm is a whole great difference. The previous night i chat with him at 2am and ask him to sleep. he say going off soon. Then i asked him what time he slept, he said 5am. WOW! 2am and 5am is a super big difference. He don't have sense of time. LOL!

So we reach one u at 1.30pm and first thing we saw is movie carnival. Doing some promotion for free tickets. WOW! Pay to get free tickets. So we walk around and watch transformer trailer, resident evil trailer, and more. Then we came to this simpsons patung.! Damn cute! So i decided to take picture with it.

So we went to a few restaurant to fill up the job application form and wait for their call. When we were going out from the parking, this guard is sleeping. lol! what a terrible guard! haihz. i got the proof! luckily i have a pro camera man beside me. so this is what we got!

111. You text faster than you type.

112. You only find out a class is cancelled after you get there and sit for about ten minutes.

113. You actually start using coupons, especially those school coupon books.

114. You open canned food and eat it... out of the can.

115. You run out of black ink and, instead of buying a new ink cartridge, decide blue is a nice substitute... adds a little flair.

I know it's already past 1 month. (and more...) But I still wanna officially wish everyone on the blog HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007!

(This may seem like a move of desperation to revive our near dying blog but I assure you, IT IS! It seems that we're all really losing touch in someway or another. So I really do hope we see slightly more blogging instead of ZERO blogging.)

Now, I can already hear my fans screaming my name and asking where I celebrated the New Year and how I celebrated the new year. (Yes, I still have fans even though nobody blogs.)

Now. Where did I celebrate the New Year?

Back to reality : I met people from all around the city. People that I know. From the BOBBY gang to Tze Yee to Kean Soon to Chin Sam to Ai Peng. Which is why the place was so darn crowded.

But it was fun. HAPPY NEW YEAR people.

the next day which is the 2nd day of genting trip. we went off to theme park cuz staying at home is quite boring. So we went to the cable car station by a van from house. We go in two trip because the van can fit so many people and got lots of big size man between us. We gather at the cable car station and here we go!

omg! so fast two week have gone! now is like so long after our last genting trip! I got the pictures from capri last 2days. When i look thru the picture i feel that i want to go there again. Is damn fun people! thanx to people who FFK for the last minute.! is like OMG!!! make us screw up the whole plan at 1st. Then i dunno why it went on well. good? yea. i think so! so people who went to genting trip what you guys thing bout it? Genting 2007 Checklist

Ok people. Since Seth posted on the chatterbox saying that I will provide you with a checklist on what to bring. I suppose it wouldn't hurt anybody for me to type a simple checklist to make sure that you bring basic necessities.

(Of course, I do hope many of you will read this. However, I noticed that it is 2.55 am but it's okay, because we'll be meeting in WMS at 5.00 pm +8.00GMT so please don't give funny excuses like Jeng Shiun as he has evolved into funnyjeng.)

Here's a list of basic necessities.

Clothes - I suppose you are most welcomed to bring shorts and stuffs like that. Of course, if you lack body fats that will keep you warm in Genting, by all means, please bring a sweater or something. But if you don't want to, it's okay, because if you stay near me all night, you'll feel warm because I am so HOT! Oh yeah, do remember to bring some clothes and prepare to get wet - just in case we're going to the pool. Sufficient amount of underwear is recommended.
Toiletries - Toothbrush, toothpaste and towel.
Money - RM15 for food, RM40? for transport fees and RM?? for theme park. I still have no idea if we're going to Theme Park because Mr. Jengz fail to write an itinerary for our Genting trip this time. I only know that we'll be meeting at WMS at 5.00 pm.
Condoms - Please bring this, somebody. So that we can have another condom blowing competition.
Handphone - Handphones are sometimes very important. But a handphone without power supply is only a plastic container with some expensive microchips. So remember to bring your chargers along if you intend to use your handphones to SMS your boyfriends or girlfriends or lesbian partners or whoever.
Digital Cameras and batteries/chargers - They say photos capture the moment. Please bring more cameras, thanks so much.
Anything else that you think is necessary.

No known species of reindeer can fly. But there are roughly 300,000 species of living organisms yet to be classified. While most of these are insects and germs, this does not rule out flying reindeer - though Santa and my uncle Ralph, in his drinking days, are the only people who've ever seen one. Oh,its me... after such a long time. I've been checking the blog quite frequently over the past 2 months, but seriously - this is too darn quiet. Therefore, I'm here once again to entertain you people, and with something extra this time as well. I've just returned from the UK and it sure feels good to be home. During these few months, I would say that the Christmas Dinner was most memorable. The Christmas concert started on Friday evening, where the college was entertained by several performances/items in which I have participated as well. On Saturday, half the college spent half the day making up and dressing up for the Christmas Dinner. All these happened on the 1st of December. It wasn't Christmas time, but who cares?

This time is mainly bout my experience of holding M-16...wakakka....hey..its real gun ok...not some toy toy gun u get in mid valley...chun or not...after the practice of holding the gun den later we all go beg the army people in charge to let us take pics with the guns leee...miraclously they approved!!!! so happy!!!...

Exams season's here. Well, for most people who are in Taylor's College now. So everyone would pretty much be busy nerding.

WESLEY Methodist School in Sentul will be visited by officers from the Federal Territories Education Department today. This is in response to a claim by a student’s father, who said he was “forced” to donate RM2,000 to the private school to secure a place for his 13-year-old daughter.A ministry spokesman said the school did not inform the department about the donation.“Even as a private school, they have to get approval,” he said. “They cannot just ask for money as there are guidelines to be adhered to.“The department has fixed the fees for private schools in the registration certification and if they want to ask for more, then they must seek our approval.”The complainant, a former civil servant, who wished to be known as George, said: “My daughter was accepted after an examination on Aug 19 but on Sept 8, I received the offer letter with a statement from the chairman requesting every parent to make a minimum donation of RM2,000 towards the development fund.”George said money is not a problem and he doesn’t mind donating but what annoyed him was the way they asked for the donation.“Why the demand? I know as a private school, they rely on parents to support them but it is not proper to force the parents to donate,” he said.The donation, he was told, will be used to build a five-storey block.“The block is 50 per cent complete. So why are they asking for more money?”“Based on my own calculation, the school collected almost RM7 million every year for the school fees, excluding other fees such as computer fees,” he said.George had appealed to donate later but was denied.“They said I must pay both the fees and donation to confirm a place for my daughter.“If I don’t, they will offer the place to other applicants on the waiting list. Doesn’t it sound threatening,” George asked.“I have no choice. The school is near my house and it is convenient.”
Not compulsory but...THE Wesley Methodist School says the donation is not compulsory but parents are expected to donate.“The donation is for the school’s development fund,” said a school official. “As a private school, we are not funded by the Government and we rely on parents to help us provide the best facilities for our students. If they want to be a part of our team, then they should abide by the procedures.“It is unfair for other parents who are willing to donate.”This year, the school offered 180 places for the new intake but there were 572 students who sat for the school’s entrance examination.“There are other people who are willing to pay more than we expect,” he said. “A parent even donated RM10,000.”He explained the school is building a five-storey building and being a non-profit organisation, they have to rely on parents to cover the cost.“The school fees are less than half what other private schools charge,” hesaid, adding that this is the first time the school had received such complaints.He invited those who are dissatisfied with the school’s procedures to come forward.

hey people, i am now organizing a new paintball game. is on saturday afternoon that is 30/9/2006 at about 5pm. this is once in a lifetime game i think. i hope everyone can go. do comment on this post to confirm that you can go. thanx! u guys sure hav fun. about the price here are the list.

T-shirts can be worn. Wearing long sleeve shirts is entirely up to you. Though the paint is washable. Do wear something that you don't mind getting stained. Just in case.

Since we couldn't have paintball. So we decided to go MV on Saturday. Seth's idea. =)

Of course, we went MV to do the usual. Not to say MV has anything unusual. No bowling alley. No baseball range. No rock climbing. Not like 1 Utama. Ok. Ok. No free advertising.

So we decided to meet up at 11. Most of us came late, besides Seth and Samantha. But at least we got nice tickets. 2nd row, from the back for a new release movie. Not bad, huh. Thanks Seth and Samantha!!!

So after walking around aimlessly. We went to Kenny Rogers after having cream puffs from Beard Papa. *burp* And maybe some free sampling of mooncakes. (My favourite!) No need to pay mah.

Capri reached MV the latest. So much for "I stay the closest to MV." Haha.

Paintball : The First Wave

Probably not a very... erm. correct title. OK. so what happened today was Jeng Shiun and I went to T.T Sports Park in Subang to check out the paintball prices. Here's the breakdown on what we discovered:

1. Saturday is fully booked. =( We might have to change the date if we intend to play in TT park.
2. The place is awesome, apart from the shitty roads with tons of potholes, the place is big. Hwang knows.
3. There are marshalls AKA referees there so no worries about not knowing the rules and stuff, they will be briefing us before the games begin.
4. Sunday is also fully booked. ALMOST. But it's the time slot around 4:00 pm should be open. We will have to call up people and finalise.
5. Anyone having transportation problems.. Do call me or anyone else going. I will put a list on who's confirmed going and who's not.
6. We can also play at night. The spotlights there should be bright enough. Kinda like those you find in Hwang's Genting Getaway on the Bball court. Friday night AKA tml night should be ok?

The question now is whether we wanna have the thing on Friday or Sunday or change venue.

Yes,this is what you see.And it is a game some of you may know..or some may not.Anyway,it's paintball.Ok,basically paintball is a game where every player holds a gun that shoots paintballs and tries to 'kill' the opponents.A kill is basically just hitting your opponent anywhere on the body with your gun,when the paintball explodes on his body and splash!You should get the idea now.An obstacle course with walls,players dodge incoming fire,and shower the opponents with the guns(known as Markers).Hey,what beats shooting your favourite Boss in the ass,and laugh it off with 'Noooooob!!!'...?Ok now,take a good look in the picture.Its a professional paintball player (Yes there are people like that around) lying on the ground trying to take down his opponent.Look at his gear.Knee pads,goggles,mask,gloves,vests....I bet you think he's mad.Hmm...all I can say is..while being fun,paintball hurts...And its not just scratches,its bruises...and painful ones.One shot can leave you with a mark for weeks,feel the pain now?Paintball players cover themselves properly to prevent serious injuries...Cheer up thou,the rush of adrenaline you get during the game reduces the pain,by a huge fraction.Who would think of pain when you have SK at your mercy while you destroy him with your firing?

Hey 5K dudes, here's a super cool update from Seth Chong AKA Mr Incredible! Ok, ok, here's how it goes:

It's Wednesday, and it's a super fun day because we went Starlight Cinema together. Firstly, SK the sexy beast, Jeng turtle and Tze Yee PMS went to buy food(You've certainly mistaken if it's healthy food, it's JUNK food) together, while I went to buy some Chicken Rice for the whole group of people(coming up!).

Now that it's around 6pm, then I drove my biggie(yeess biggie, it's a Kancil) inside Sentul West Part till KLPAC, where Starlight Cinema is just beside it. After around 15 mins, then I saw SK sexy beast and TY PMS driving into the carpark in a super lousy ATOS! Oh yea, it's Sze Keat driving anyways, Lol.

They drove in, turn a big round then came back and parked beside my biggie. After that, Jeng came along too, and then Jiliang our Big Boss showed up looking cool as well. You know what's funny?

We at least hang around the car park for 45-60minutes doing crazy stuffs as usual. Lol, then as Tze Yee got her hands on Sze Keat's camera, people start taking pictures. Here's from my side(TONS more in SK's camera...cause it's friggin in TY's hands!):

Then when we see people start driving their cars into the car park, only we took our food, drinks, and mat inside to the Starlight Cinema. Here's the look of it:

Walk walk walk, and then yeah, We Reached! Ok, it's a 1 minute walk only, I sound excited because I've learnt to syok sendiri lately hehe. And then once there, we gave em our ticket printed(Yes PRINTED) and gotten in.

Aiyah dem, I shoulda print 10 so everyone can get in free actually, but Tze Yee said she got only 4 free tickets and said I'm cheap so I printed 6 ne hehe.

There, once in this is what we see! Oh wait, actually got quite lots of little tents selling things like ice cream, hot dogs burgers and drinks but we just enter and find a spot.

What to do next? Of course put mat la, if not how you gonna sit!? Ok I admit, can sit on the grass(keat boon, kean soon and ding shyong came too and they sat on grass romantically, cool yeah?), but mat cleaner la.

Put down our things, SK and TY first go take picture and syok sendiri like I said just now lol, while me, jeng the turtle, boss and hwang sat on the mat, put the stuffs nicely and relax.

Whoa, suddenly Hwang get high already, and he wanted to eat ice cream. Before he go, he even asked us if we wanted Ice Cream(Super Generous Man, which is RARE)! Lol, thanks anyways Hwang, the ice creams were great.

So while we were waiting, I took the projector picture la. As we wait for another 15 minutes, then everybody came back already. We find our own spot sit down/lie down and wait for the movie to start. This is the pic:

Right before the movie begins, our favourite Capri the piggie(or our "zhat" target lol) came in looking cool, which I said that cause she brought us all another mat! Hehe no lar Capri, you're always our favourite girl despite the mat.

A while after that, the movie starts! The show we watched is V for Vendetta, which is a dem cool guy. If he's a real person I bet he can make a nice friend lol. After the part where V exploded the building on top of the roof with the chun girl(around 5 mins also after the show starts) then Samantha our favourite Cake Baker reached the Cinema too!

You know somethin? A cake baker's presence is alwaaayys cool, cause look what she's brought for us:

Needless to say, we finished half before she can even sit down and breathe lol, then we enjoyed the show together.

Ok basically V for Vendetta is a funny show as well, although this guy looks a lil gay with his hair cut like coconut and fights with short knife, he's super cool in talking. In the middle of the show, because my butt starts to itch so I stood up and kacau people with my camera.

I don't know about you. But the chat just now with Seth kinda fired up my 5K spirit - a little. Been too busy this week. Assignments and assignments and more assignments. But it's good. You know, you learn when you do your work.

But Genting trip's in 2 days.

TWO days.

Start packing tomorrow night, yeah?

There will be a checklist so you don't forget your essential stuffs. (It'll be added tomorrow. So stay tuned.)

"Upon first listen, Keane's Under the Iron Seais a hodgepodge of piano balladry that does little to move thelistener. Some may write this off as the dreaded 'sophomore slump' butupon further investigation it is apparent that the forces of subtletyare at work here making this into a really great album.
