Addiction Gone Bad...

As some of you may have heard...

I've caught on to the addiction that is DotA after like 3 years since it's been released and you know what? It's f**king addictive. 60++ heroes to choose from and I didn't even know where to start everytime. All the heroes seem to tempting...

I even took the effort to get the WarCraft 3 discs the day after playing it in a CC in One Utama Centerpoint with Jeng Shiun.

Mr. Tan is the main reason that I was playing DotA. (Note the word "was") Haha... The game DotA is so addictive you can practically hear sounds like "M..M..Monster Kill" or "Killing Spree" or "Owning" or "God-Like" etc. etc. even when you're sleeping! At times you even compare scenes in real life to DotA.

Example:
A DotA Scenario
An opponent's hero has been killed (pawned) by you. There's a message shown to everyone announcing that X(Opponent's hero's name) has been pawned by Y(Your name) for 100 Gold.

A Real Life Situation compared to a DotA Scenario
Days ago, in class - there was a spider that was disturbing some of us. And in DotA, there's a hero that looks like a spider, namely Broodmother (some spider looking hero.)

So, one of my classmates took the initiative to kill it. And when the spider was killed - We announced:
Broodmother has been pawned by Tinesh for 100 Gold

And up to yesterday, I was still playing DotA. Well, 1 game - I think.

But just minutes ago, I made a decision to get my life back. Back to the non-DotA days. Opened the Start Menu, and searched for WarCraft on the list. Uninstalled it. Bid farewell to DotA - even though I was only playing for like..2-3 weeks.

Come to think of it... It wasn't that addictive, was it?

Addictive sh*t. Bye bye DotA.

Moral: Don't play DotA. It even has the same number of letters as the word Drugs and starts with a "D". lol, just a comparison. =) No offence, dota addicts!
